EPW - Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, 50mm, heavy 18K gold original J&S (Jeannot & Shiebler) demi-HC with "Gordon W. Lloyd" in orange and black enamel around front lid aperture, script "L" engraved to rear, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial with blue 5-minute markings, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement with mustache counterpoise, 20J, wolf's tooth winding, nickel damascene, s#273174 with matching serial number within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 81.7 dwt (127.1 g). An attractive example with an interesting heavy gold case.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some mild micro-fine scratches, few small spots to plates, few small bits of oxide to steelwork; dial with hl between 3 and 4 terminating at a small edge flake under bezel, short fine scratch at perimeter above 12; excellent hands with small bits of oxide; case shows very light wear, small nick to front perimeter in area left of pendant, no dents, enamel fully intact, good engraving detail, rear hinge is missing an end-cap; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystals.
